The Ranch is Ranch Recovery Centers, Inc.'s men's residential campus in Desert Hot Springs, in operation since 1972. It houses up to 43 men in dormitory settings within an organization that also runs Hacienda Valdez for women and a family program, and lists several commercial insurers plus Medi-Cal information.

Casa Cecilia is a six-bed residential recovery home for women operated by the Riverside County Latino Commission in the Coachella Valley. Its 60-day inpatient program includes individual and group counseling, relapse prevention and aftercare, funded through Riverside County Medi-Cal.

Door to Hope is a non-profit provider of residential substance use treatment for women in Salinas, California. The program serves adult and young adult women, including veterans and people with co-occurring mental health conditions, and offers cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and trauma-focused counseling. Buprenorphine is available for opioid use disorder, and Medicare is accepted.

Telecare Redwood Place is a men-only treatment center located in Oakland, CA. The facility accepts clients with children. Note, they don't treat opioid addiction.
