The Avery Road Combined Care (ARCC) facility is managed by Maryland Treatment Centers, Inc. through a contract with Montgomery County. ARCC provide clinically managed medium intensity residential services for adult males and females and Intensive Outpatient Services and outpatient mental health services for adult males and females.

Evidence-based program services include: Chemical dependency treatment, education and relapse prevention, psychiatric evaluations, mental health treatment and medication management, opioid maintenance therapy and other medication assisted treatments, nursing, family support and counseling, and an extensive life management curriculum that supports patients’ transitions to meaningful recovery. The average length of stay in residential treatment at ARCC is six months, however patients are encouraged to remain engaged in treatment through the Outpatient Mental Health Clinic and the outpatient substance abuse groups.
