START Treatment and Recovery Centers - Clinic 23/Third Horizon Clinic

START Treatment and Recovery Centers operate a detox clinic and opioid treatment program for methadone and buprenorphine clients. In addition, START offers primary medical care and comprehensive HIV/AIDS services, as well as mental health counseling to adolescents in the juvenile justice system. This treatment provider is listed as a SAMHSA-Certified Opioid Treatment Program.

All of our programs are certified as a Part 822.5 Program by the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) and licensed as Article 28 clinics by the NYS Office of Health Systems Management. In addition, all programs have received the highest level of national accreditation by Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). Additional funding for these services is provided by the AIDS Institute of the New York State Department of Health, which has recognized the quality of the care we provide since 1999.
