Rainbow's End was established as a co-ed dual diagnosis treatment facility on 8 acres along the Salmon River in the mountains of central Idaho. We can house 15 clients at a time in the two houses so there is plenty of individualized treatment. The outdoors is incorporated into the treatment program, especially fly fishing, hiking and natural hot springs.
Treatment & Philosophy
The counselors use CBT, RBT, EMDR and other methods of treatment as appropriate. One counselor specializes in PTSD and women's issues; another handles grief and loss and early childhood trauma and third focuses on the addiction issues. Curriculum utilizes AA and NA material in addition to materials on codependency, anger management, self-empowerment and PTSD.
