Sunspire Health Hilton Head is a small, private treatment facility tucked away on a quiet street of Hilton Head Island offering personalized recovery programs for men and women struggling with addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders. Hilton Head's mission is to provide clinical excellence with an integrated approach to treatment that utilizes evidence-based clinical interventions supported by Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) and holistic therapies to give patients well-rounded care. The facility has a high staff-to-patient ratio, ensuring that each patient receives the personalized care he or she deserves.

The experienced clinical staff at Sunspire Health Hilton Head specializes in treating co-occurring mental health disorders like depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and others, as well as treating process addiction interactions like disordered eating and gambling addiction. Our staff also has expertise in addressing PTSD, especially for veterans and survivors of trauma. Treating co-occurring mental health disorders will address underlying causes of addiction in order to set patients up for successful, long-term recovery.

In addition to its residential/inpatient program, Sunspire Health Hilton Head offers onsite sub-acute social detox (when necessary), a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), and an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). Each patient receives individualized treatment based on his or her specific needs for recovery.

Patients have many different varieties of therapy available during treatment, including individual therapy, CBT, psycho-education, motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, and adventure therapy. Alternative therapies such as yoga, meditation, and animal-assisted therapy are also offered.

The facility also features a swimming pool and jacuzzi, access to a gym seven days a week, yoga instruction, mindfulness meditation, and opportunities to partake in meditative walks on the beach that allow patients to work on self-discovery and inner peace as methods of stress reduction.

At Sunspire Health Hilton Head, patients become involved in the community both inside and outside of the facility through recreation therapy, which includes weekends of sober activities like going to free concerts in the area or volunteering with local convalescent homes.

Sunspire Health's South Carolina facility is located in beautiful Hilton Head Island on property that was once a boutique hotel, surrounded by lush gardens and exquisite water fountains to provide an ideal environment for healing and escaping the chaos of addiction. The serenity and beauty of Hilton Head Island is ideal for healing body, mind, and spirit. With 33 beds available and nursing staff on-site 24 hours a day, our facility offers accommodations that give peace of mind to men and women seeking a life of sobriety. Patients have access to an onsite outdoor pool for relaxation and a wraparound porch to enjoy their daily meals on.

Once insurance or another payment method is verified, you or the loved one you're calling for will take a clinical screening to ensure we can properly care for the addiction. After the screening is complete and approved, arrival at one of our facilities is scheduled as soon as possible. Transportation can be arranged for patients to ensure that travel is not a burden.
